Experimental Testing and Structural Team

Research Topics

The Experimental Testing and Structural Team focuses on evaluating the mechanical behavior and resilience of advanced structural systems through rigorous laboratory testing and numerical simulation. Our research interests include seismic performance assessment, innovative material characterization, structural health monitoring, and validation of novel connection technologies. We combine state-of-the-art experimental facilities with high-fidelity computational modeling to bridge theoretical analysis and practical engineering applications. The team aims to develop evidence-based design methodologies that enhance structural safety, durability, and sustainability under extreme loading conditions.
